The Papua New Guinea National Institute of Standards and Industrial Technology (PNG NISIT), established by the NISIT Amended Act of 2018, is the Government's Commercial Statutory Authority responsible for the establishment and implementation of Papua New Guinea's National Quality Infrastructure (NQI).
The NQI promotes economic development, trade, and consumer protection by ensuring Papua New Guinean Products and Services meet International Quality and Safety Standards.
