The Objectives of the APEC SCSC – PNG Contact Point are as follows:
Provide an avenue for information dissemination on matters of the APEC SCSC Forum to all National Stakeholders involved directly and indirectly in S&C activities at the national level
Advise all Stakeholders on the latest developments in the SCSC Forum regarding the Regional Developments and Issues on S&C Matters
Provide an avenue for information exchange on APEC SCSC at the national level through involvement with Government, Private Sector and Interested Groups and Industry Associations etc
Provide an Internal forum for NIST as per its policies, programs and services on regional collaboration and cooperation
